8:30-10am Catholic schools network quarterly meeting, educator hat.

10:30am Editor meeting, every hat.

10:30-1 Do the work. Email burst. Also write if you can. Call your mother.

1:00pm Tania meeting, in person.

2:30pm Kid pick up 1

3:00pm Kid pick up 2

3:15-4pm Laugh with the children. After school snacks.

4:00pm One last zoom meeting, whole human hat.

5:00pm Squeeze the children. Prep lasagna for dinner.

6:00pm Hop the train to O’Hare.

8:00pm Flight out of Chicago.

Mondays are for lists.

  1. So smart! Your list says so much. What a wonderful way to get to know someone – to scaffold a conference with a reader, writer, teacher. It could also be a great way to match texts to readers and help writers with topic generation. I will think more about this for sure. Safe travels.

  2. My favorite I think is the laugh with children. What I love about this post is the balance of what it reveals with what it doesn’t. There’s a lot between the items on the list that’s not being said or explained. Safe travels to you, and a big hug if I were with you in person.

  3. ❤️ Mondays ARE for lists. I refer to them as #MindMappingMondays and I gift myself the space to plot the race that is the week ahead. Strategy, reflection, sage, prayer, tea, and colored pens on tangible planners…and a jealousy puppy fighting a laptop for proximity.

    Mondays are sacred here. Tuesdays are for the birds 🙄
